Collective unsettlement

We are Collective "unsettlement" – theater-makers and spouses who have left Russia and are now based in Berlin, Germany. We work with documentary texts and personal experiences, connecting them to current political contexts. Our mission is to challenge hierarchies in theater and social relationships, critique patriarchy through theatrical and performative practices. We aim to create a space where often ignored or suppressed voices and stories can be heard. For us, art is a political tool that can be used to illuminate social problems and conflicts, foster discussions, and encourage reflection. Theater is a space to rehearse the future—a future without discrimination and violence, where solidarity and equality prevail.
